Personal Tee Junior Golf Learning Program

The golf staff realizes that kid’s learn differently than adults. Too much instruction can turn them away for golf. Too little, and they can become frustrated, develop poor swing habits, and even lose interest in the game.

That’s why Maumelle Country Club has implemented the “Personal Tee Junior Golf Learning Program”. This program provides balanced instruction and positive incentives to encourage young golfers to reach their full potential in the game of golf.

The length of the golf course can also be discouraging and possibly turn them away from golf forever. Because the red tees are too long for young golfers, Maumelle Country Club has added two new sets of tees; green and yellow, which are designed to shorten the course. These tees are located close to the cart paths and have made kids feel included and encouraged to play on a course that they can handle. Pace of play has greatly improved and enjoyment by both parent and child is heightened.

And to top it off, the right equipment is very important for early success. The Pro Shop offers a full line of US Kids Golf Equipment to custom fit the right set of clubs for your junior player!

The Personal Tee Junior Camps are held each summer during the months of June, July and August.
